chbB promoter with a new -35
The chbB promotor was obtained from E.coli MG1655 through PCR. And we remove the strong NagC binding site and change the old -35 signal "TACTAT" to the new -35 signal "TTGACA"
Usage and Biology
ChbB promotor is the promotor of chitobiose operon. It has the NagC, ChbR and CAP binding sites and can be activated by N -acetylglucosamine disaccharide, chitobiose. [More information is available at EcoCyc: EG10143].
